Julie, Judi, and I work in a variety of ways with computer systems. Julie and I have been designing and supporting multi-user database applications, including integrated accounting, manufacturing, distribution, service and others since 1984.
Judi is the Editor of Bedford On-Line, maintaining our whole website and providing complete Internet service for clients, including advertising on our site's pages and web page design and maintenance. She also is your first point of contact for moving your web site to our major Internet hosting service.
In late 1995 a nebulous group of interested parties began meeting to discuss the possibility of creating an environment which would allow computers in our area to communicate with each other. It never was clear just how this was to be achieved, with some people calling for a local area network , while others thought a wide area network (with dial-up connections) was better. Sources of funding also were vague.
