Wholesale Beads, Beading Supplies, Findings, Jewelry - South Pacific Wholesale Company

Description

Thank you for showing interest in my web site. Without people like you, interested people, I'd be nowhere. Zilch. Palukasville. I'd have been a lawyer, postal clerk, worse. But with your help, and others like you, I am the Beadmeister for Planet Earth and have been making my living selling beads for over twenty years. Beadmeister is not a self-anointed title but neither is it as important as it may sound to you. I began in the bead business by failing to sell puka shells in Hawaii for several years in the early 70's. In 1977 I apprenticed at a friend's jewelry stand in Waikiki for ten weeks before moving to Boston to sell on the street and work my way painfully up the beadchain. Now I've made it to you. I hope you are the top.

Although I have tried to cash in on every fad I could, I am but a man and men can be blind and obtuse when it comes to fashion and shopping. So I always come back to my standby, semi-precious beads. My catalogue features six and a half pages of semi-precious beads with thirty-five more pages of findings, tools, jewelry and odds and ends. Monthly we do a flier, ostensibly to keep people up on the latest at South Pacific but really to test new merchandise, cash in on what I've been told is hot and dump old merchandise on the unsuspecting. Sometimes people find my catalogue and fliers offensive. I am sorry. But unlike in movies and TV shows that begin or end with the disclaimer about the program being fictional and any resemblance to living people being a fluke, probably when I wrote the offensive passage in my flier I was thinking only of you. So, please look over as much of my online information as you have the time or patience for. More than likely I'd enjoy having You as a Customer and you would find that we would do our best to make you happy as laid out for you in our Ordering Information and our Customer Service Pledge.

When I got to Boston on June 30, 1977, I had no name for my business. When in August I finally made my way into a Postal Instant Press and had some business cards made up describing what I was selling, i.e. South Pacific coral, heishi and shell jewelry with my name as the business name, the printer laid out the card like this:
