Beacon Federal Credit Union was chartered as DuPont La Porte Federal Credit Union in March of 1949. The credit unions' goal is to create "Success through Service" by providing courteous, efficient, and sound financial services for its members. In 2005, we were granted a community charter and officially changed our name to Beacon Federal Credit Union in order to better reflect our varied membership base.
