Be Naked Yoga is located on a private beach on Koh Phangan, a tiny tropical island in the Gulf of Thailand. The yoga offered at our secluded space is practiced without clothing. Raised eyebrows often demands an explanation: “What makes naked yoga relevant?” “Is this a sex thing?”
Nudity is often confused with sensuality and we tend to think that what makes us feel good must be bad. So better to hide, for it is safer under covers where no one can see: Who knows what might happen?
My name is Peter and I am the founder of Be Naked Yoga. When I started looking into yoga about ten years ago, such fear-based expectations almost kept me from starting on the path to liberation. Yoga, naked or not, is about using the body to free the soul. Be Naked Yoga's aim is to hasten evolution by removing the weights and obstacles, one piece of clothing at a time.
I am hugely lucky to have taught yoga all over the world. Be Naked Yoga presents the highlight of my experience in a 4-day retreat format designed around weekends and public holidays in Asia. Our all-male retreats on a private beach on beautiful Koh Phangan are for newbies and those with experience. The practice is physically and mentally demanding, yet hugely rewarding.
