Bavin Glassworks was established in 1988 by Pat Bavin. The studio was set up in a garage in downtown Windermere, BC, where creations in glass were sold right out of the front door! In 1989, Ryan Bavin (Pat's son) started apprenticing at the age of 15. Bavin Glassworks grew throughout the 90's as word spread that people could watch the fascinating and mysterious process of glassblowing at the Bavin Glassworks studio.
