Bastien Francois work as an independent music video director for EMI Music & Virgin Music in Germany. In 2006 he has directed all videos for Lafee, Germany's most successful act that year (platinium album), plus videos for the Finnish group Sunrise Avenue, and the NY based group Naturally7. Those videos have been aired in various Countries including Germany, France, Belgium, Italy, Finland, and UK.
Bastien lives and work in Ibiza as well, where he produces creative work for many of the island most prestigious clients such as the Balearic government, World's biggest DJ: Carl Cox & Club Space (WMC "World's best club") for whom he takes care of a range of visual productions, including online and above the line promotion, their annual album & DVD.
Bastien studied a BA(hons) in Time Based Media & a Master in Media Communication in London before working as a creative for the ad agency Euro Rscg Wnek Gosper, as a graphic & flash designer for clients in the IT, banking and tourism industry such as Intel, Credit Suisse, Abbey National, Iomega, Cahoot to name but a few.
After 8 years in England, Bastien trained as an underwater cameraman in South East Asia. For more than a year he shared his time between media production for the local businesses and, after having gained his licenses as a PADI divemaster, DSAT Technical Deep & USA National Speleological Society cave diver, he worked as an underwater Camera operator for a range of projects in Thailand, Burma and Mexico´s famous caves: the Cenotes.

Additional Information
Two of Bastien Francois´s video for teen rockstar Lafee have been nominated for an ECHO (Deutscher Musikpreiss) for best video: The music video "Mitternacht" in 2006, and "Wer bin ich" in 2007.
