Description
Colin Horne who is "Mr Barton pottery" first found his interest in ceramics whilst living in Bucks in the early 1980's, when he decided to join an evening class, just as a hobby!
It quickly turned into more of a passion than a pastime. As the interest in the commissions and gifts he created for his family and friends grew, Colin soon found he began to get many orders!
Following their move to Devon in 1990, Colin & Diane's new home, a suitably apt 450 year old farmhouse, gave life to Barton Pottery. A small workshop appeared, and as Colin set to work this very soon incorporated his very first showroom.
