About Us
Barracuda Divers, located in Cullman, Alabama, works in partnership with Tidepool Diving Training Center in Hayden, Alabama as an IDEA certifying agency. This unique partnership gives us the opportunity of offering SCUBA certification in the North Alabama area from Basic Openwater through Instructor. We also offer a complete list of specialty certifications, including Nitrox, Search and Recovery, Stress and Rescue, Divemaster and Instructor courses. We sell and service a complete line of SCUBA gear, and guided group dive trips to the Gulf of Mexico, Florida Springs, and the Caribbean and Mexico.
Our certifying agency, International Diving Educator's Association, is one of the largest certification agencies in the world. It is a charter member of the Recreational Scuba Training Council and recognizes cross over certifications from other agencies. We can upgrade your Openwater Certification from other agencies, to an Advanced Certification, or higher.
Here at Barracuda Divers, and Tidepool Diving, we believe in giving quality, in-depth instruction, while at the same time, having a good time! We are always excited to open the underwater world up to our new students, and continue to provide opportunities for those certified divers to use their diving skills in many different locations. Our students become our friends!
