I think I started baking when I was about 13 years old. Chocolate Cakes, Chocolate Chip Cookies and Christmas Cookies were my standards back then. I could usually make someone in the family happy by making one of those yummy desserts. My collection of recipes has expanded greatly over the years. And, when I look at my note cards, recipe file boxes and folders bursting with recipes, I can see somewhat of a pattern.
