Hello, my name is Terri. Along with my husband, Ian, we have created this web site to share with you our enjoyment of Koi keeping and Ponding.
Background
We've been keeping fish for several years, ranging from South American cichlid's, small tropical's, and goldfish. Ever since I laid eyes on a childhood friends parents planted aquarium with cardinal tetra's and corydorus catfish, I've always wanted to have one. You could say I was hooked from that moment. My parents weren't into letting me have fish, so I had a long wait before I could get my first set up. Ian on the other hand had gotten to experience fish keeping throughout his childhood. Koi keeping has been in Ian's family for some time.
Ian and I have known each other since 1988, in early spring 1994 we got married. We have three children, 2 boys and a girl. All our kids are involved in our hobbies and have made us proud regarding how much they have learned. Our other "kids" are two female cats which were both rescues and a female Rottwieller who is an absolute dream as well as my constant companion.
