Description
The Back Forty Folk Festival is held on the first Sunday of June in Morden Park. Nine hours of music and fun for the whole family in a beautiful grassy bowl on the banks of the Dead Horse Creek, 70 miles southwest of Winnipeg. Sunday, June 7, 2001 was our eleventh annual festival. Some past headliners include Unlikely Icon, The Wyrd Sisters, Cost of Living, Lisa Marie Serafin, the Backroads Band, Cate Friesen, Chuck Sukey, the Dust Rhinos, Scrüj McDukh, Heather Bishop, Combo Latino and lots of southern Manitoba talent. Local performers include Wing & a Prayer, Stew Clayton, Tom & Lori Neufeld, Bill Dowling, Take Five, Sandra Mae Reimer, Linda Hiebert, Wholesome Bluegrass, Orlando & Grace and many more.
