AXIOM TRAINING was established in 1992 and is run by Joanna and Martin Bennett. Martin teaches full time and a number of part-time employees also work for the company, providing instruction and examination support. Axiom runs courses for organisations anywhere in the UK and abroad, using the existing facilities of the employing company. The courses are run on a "contract" basis, which allows for the very competitive pricing regime offered.
JOANNA provides administrative support for the company from the headquarters in Knightwick. She is a qualified manager and lay First Aid examiner with a sixteen year history of employment in the National Health Service; leaving to work for Axiom Training in 1992.
MARTIN provides instruction for some of the courses. He is qualified to EMT-A (Paramedic) and First Aid at Work Instructor, holds a Certificate in Pre Hospital Emergency Care from the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh and Advanced Life Support from the Resuscitation Council. He is now studying for a degree in Pre-Hospital Care at Swansea University. He first became a First Aider in 1976 whilst working for the Welsh Water Authority. He joined Hereford and Worcester Fire Brigade as a Wholetime Fireman in 1982. Martin left the Fire Brigade in 1992 to establish a training company offering immediate care qualification courses some of which are in accordance with the Health and Safety (First Aid) 1981 regulations.
