Awesome Unusuals initially came into being as Trinity Originals in 1999, and was started in Canada selling strictly t-shirts. We started producing and shipping from the US in 1999. The original designer, Doug Ferris, still lives and works up north. At present, he is designing and making furniture. Doug first created the 3D designs, and they sold well. The Rock On designs Doug created using the BC Rock art idea. You can see these lovely and very funny designs in our close-out section. These designs will not be replaced.
In 2000 we changed our emphasis and name to match our products. We are a family run business and will remain so. We have been able to keep costs down for retail buyers and wholesale buyers alike. Over the last 2 years we have gone heavily into wholesale. We have found a certain niche in the community and this has allowed us to add more lines to the wholesale side of the business. At this stage, we have our garments in almost 30 stores country wide. In the future we are looking to expanding our business to Canada and perhaps Australia. We have sold our garments to retail customers world wide, and have always happily exchanged sizes and refunded purchases when asked to do so.
Our top quality garments are very carefully chosen before they are even tested in the process. We test new garments and dyes almost monthly, and discount almost 80% of the garments tested, due to either low quality or weak dyes.
