I have had a lot of very interesting jobs in my life such as making and restoring musical instruments, rebuilding pianos, making puppets for the theater, building stereoscopes and models of ships, to name a few. But making automata (mechanical dolls) is definitely my favorite in the recent years. One of the reasons I love making these dolls is the great variety of technology needed for these creations. I "collect" these technologies, like others collect stamps.
