During the great Depression of the 1930's Alan Foley started selling rights to poetry from his home in Sydney. Later in 1939, he formed a company named Alan Foley Pty Ltd which represented a few local and overseas companies. Brian Foley joined the business in 1960 after working for the Sydney & Melbourne Publishing Company and the Sydney Daily Telegraph. In 1973 Alan Foley passed away and the business was then managed by his son Brian.
Alan Foley Pty Ltd was restructured in 1988 and became Auspac Media. Combined, the two companies have been running for over 65 years. On the 30th June 2001, Brian Foley embarked on his well earned retirement after 40 years at the helm of the family owned business.
The long running tradition of supplying the best local and overseas feature content will continue. Auspac’s goal of great features and personal service with integrity remains the company’s key priority.
