Title

Aule Browser

Description

The Aule Browser is a wrapper for HTML rendering engines such as the Trident engine of Intenet Explorer o nWiindows or the Geck engine of FireFox. Aule also works well on Windows with the Opera Browser

Aule mean "hall, courtyard, entryway" and the first Aule Browser "browser wrappers" were for on-line movies and for used-books.

Aule is written in the Curl programming language so is UNICODE friendly.

An AUle browser can be thought of as a Curl template generated to wrap a browser in a useful fashion for site-specific browsing, special needs browsing or project or research browsing.

The Aule Browser uses the Curl EmbeddedBrowserGraphic class and EmbeddedBrowserEvent class.

Curl interfaces with JavaScript and JSON and the Aule pages can be launched from embedded HTML Object tags.

The current plan at http://code.google.com/p/aule-browser/ is to generate Aule tempaltes using the Smalltalk Seaside web framework.
