Augustino’s Rock and Roll Deli began as a family owned grocery store with only three staff members: Augie, son Jerry and wife Phyllis. Located behind the Fire Station in Carol Stream, in Gina’s Plaza, Augustino’s specialized in Italian goods, along with the usual convenience items. In the back, they sold sandwiches to shift workers and high school kids looking for a great bang for their buck.
