Atqui is an add-on service for your existing e-mail account. We provide you with an e-mail web interface, access to a shiny new incoming mail server and promises of diminishing your unwanted messages. In return, you provide us with that warm, loving smile of yours.
If your inbox encounters an e-mail from someone you have had no previous contact with, Atqui will send them a polite message asking for "verification". By opening a webpage and entering the letters shown in an image, you can rest assured that the person trying to contact you is kind-hearted and not an evil spam generating monster. This process is only done once, and only takes a few moments to complete. Of course, if this is something you do not feel comfortable with, you can elect to rely solely on Atqui's other filtering techniques that are based upon tried and true industry standards.
Using auto-verification, Atqui can achieve close to 100% effectiveness against blocking unwanted e-mail. Without employing this feature, Atqui will still block the VAST majority of your unsolicited e-mail. Either way, it'll be enough to make you feel all warm and fuzzy inside.
