Atlantis Photography: Photographs of the Greek Islands of Santorini and many others plus Information and Message Boards
I was born on March 11th 1956 in Sunderland, County Durham, England and I have worked as a professional photographer for over thirty years, specialising in photography for museums and art galleries.
In 1994 I began studying part-time as a mature student at the University of Sunderland's School of Fine Art for a BA (Honours) degree in Photography, Video & Digital Imageing; graduating in 1999 with a 2:1 classification. During this time my lecturers included Arabella Plouviez, Dr Ken Giles, Julian Germain and John Kippin – all of whom are excellent practitioners and academics in their field and to whom I am deeply indebted.
My wife and I have visited the Greek islands on a regular basis since 1979 and have developed a deep affection for the people and their culture. Because we have visited the islands many times now I have built up an extensive collection of analogue and digital images which I decided to develop this website around gradually adding more links to other islands... so please do return – I hope your efforts will be rewarded.
