Description
Excerpted from the website:
- ASTROS (Automated STRuctural Optimization System) is a computer program for the multidisciplinary design and analysis of aerospace structures. ASTROS combines mathematical optimization algorithms with structural finite element method (FEM) disciplines such as statics, dynamics, and aeroelasticity to perform automated preliminary design of structures. ASTROS* is the seamless integration of ZONA’s commercially available aeroelastic software ZAERO with ASTROS. This software product is currently under further development at ZONA and is expected to be released in mid to late 2003.
