- The challenges that young women face in today's society are astounding. In this day in age, girls maintain a more negative body image, experience higher levels of anxiety and depression, and are at a greater risk of attempting suicide than their male counterparts. Despite these facts, only 5.3% of foundation funding nationally goes to programs for girls and women. With this in mind, Assist Her, Inc. and Self-Evident, Inc. was formed to rejuvenate the minds of young women with knowledge and encouragement.
