AssertID originates from a project at Stanford Business School in January 2007. This effort attempted to answer a simple but important question - How do you know who you are interacting with online? Leveraging recent advances in the science of Social Network Analysis and the the phenomenal growth of online social networks, the project team developed technology designed specifically to address this difficult but important question. AssertID was founded in 2007 to commercialize this technology.
