About AF3
THE Asian Formula 3 Corporation (AF3), which holds office in Manila, is an entity incorporated under Philippine laws and duly registered with the Philippine Securities and Exchange Commission. It was organized for the purpose of bringing professional motor sport to a new level in Asia by demonstrating to commercial backers that motor sport, and Formula 3 in particular, offers a tremendous return on an investment in series, event, team or driver support.
AF3 stockholders are comprised of teams who are committed to enter a minimum of two cars for the 2004 season and beyond. Current stockholders include the proprietors of Speedtech Racing, Joson F3 Racing, Team Goddard, Ghiasports, TOM’S Asia and Kinectic Racing.
Chairman of the Board is Mr. Jose Eduardo (Eddie) Peña, whose vision for Asian Motor Sport has been the driving force behind the formation of AF3. "Our aim is to ensure that there is a structured path to the top for Asian race drivers," says Mr. Peña, "and I believe that along with our partners at the Asian Festival of Speed (AFOS), who promote the Formula BMW Asia Series, we are giving our drivers the best possible opportunity to progress from Karts through Formula BMW and on to Formula 3."
