- About George:
- I was born in Shanghai, China in 1978. But I never lived in the city, which is referred now as the economical powerhouse of the modern China. I lived and studied in Benbu, a small city in Anhui province. In 1990, my parents and I left China in pursuit of a better life. Few days later, we landed in Bolivia, an impoverished South American country. I studied High School there for a year and half. Later, the journey led my family to Argentina. We stayed in that country for four and half years. I continued my study there, and my parents were struggling to make a living in a country where discrimination exists in every aspect of life. Finally, in 1996 we moved to United States and lived with my uncle and aunt in this beautiful city San Diego. I graduated from University of California, San Diego with a B.S. in Computer Science, and I have been blessed with a good and stable job in a research lab of the university. I am grateful for everything I had gone through to get me here today, and counting God's blessing everyday.
