Ascendant Equity is a Seattle-based credit repair company with connections to the community where we do business. We partner with local non-profit and government organizations to help our clients qualify to purchase their first home, get better interest rates on auto loans, and rebuild their lives through credit restoration and financial literacy. I started Ascendant Equity because I saw a wide chasm between the people and the so-called first-time home buyer programs designed to help them. I teach people that you only need three things to become a home owner: A decent job, a family budget, and a good FICO score! The more I worked with individuals who had good paying jobs and bad credit, the more I realized that their credit score was the ONLY thing standing between them and home-ownership. So many hard working people trapped by a low FICO score! After working with these individuals for years, I came to the obvious conclusion that credit worthiness equals FREEDOM. Freedom from the worries and disadvantages caused by a low FICO score. The only way to obtain that freedom is to become financially literate, responsible, and credit-worthy. After I repaired my own credit I found an entire world of opportunities opened to me. It was then that I realized I could help other people improve their lives by improving their credit.
