Arthur’s Skips was founded in 1994 by Arthur Hartley and his son James Hartley. They began trading with two vehicles and eight skips from premises at Warren Street, Sheffield. In 1996 our first waste transfer station was set up at Stevenson Road. We worked from the two sites until 1998 when due to outgrowing the premises moved to 302a Neepsend Lane. In 2002 we became a Limited Company and we purchased further land in 2004 at Hobson Avenue and currently work from the two sites.
