- After working in the steel contracting business for 27 years, I have begun pursuit of my dream of building these unique art sculptures. Since the age of 20, I began doing small welding jobs such as custom handrails, gates, and patio furniture. After about 2 years of these smaller projects, I began working on buildings such as carpet mills and other steel structures. Although steel construction is exciting and rewarding, I noticed that unique art sculptures could be crafted out of steel using the skills I have developed over the years.
