- My name is Ian Bird and i am based in Harlow, Essex and the aim of this website is to pass on as much information as possible to help you grasp the concept of texturing, or as it is more commonly known here in the UK as Artexing.
- I have been a texturer for some 13 or 14 years covering areas of Essex, Herts and outer London. I went to the School of Texturing in Yeovil to learn the basics and then after gaining experience i went back to do the advanced course which involved the comb textures. I also attended a course at the Artex training centre in New Haven to learn skills in Coving and Mouldings.
