Description
The purpose of this site is to facilitate awareness of North Korean social, political, and security issues by providing timely commentary and analysis on current and historical events, and to act as a portal to some of the most pertinent news, research, opinion, and organizations covering North Korea. This is only a starting point, and content often includes South Korean, Asian, and international issues, usually but not always related to North Korea. I do the posting, with input from several other long-time North Korea watchers.
This site is divided into two main parts; the blog on the mainpage, and pages of links related to Korea (see the Site Map below). If you prefer to read via Really Simply Syndication, this is the DPRK Studies Blog RSS feed. Comments, corrections, and suggestions (news, articles, Korea or Asia related blogs, North Korea sites, etc.) are always welcomed.
