Folks tell us it has been a long time waiting for a private escape. Well, your wait is over! Guests can choose from one of two nicely furnished cabins -- The All American Clubhouse or The Pine Tree Palace -- or opt for primitive camping at The Courtois Cabana.
To name just a few of the many amenities, cabin facilities at ArdPark include private bedrooms with pillowtop mattresses, complete bedding, bath and kitchen linens, hairdryer, cookware and crock pot, dishes, utensils, microwave, coffee pot, toaster, electric stove and oven, full refrigerator, clock radios and 2 child booster seats. But that is far from all!
Your trip should be as easy as possible, right? We think so. Why should you spend a major part of your vacation packing and unpacking when instead you can stay at ArdPark where all that you need is waiting for you? Cabin patrons will be pleased to always find an ample supply of trash bags, paper plates, paper towels, aluminum foil, zippered baggies, napkins, dish soap, toilet paper, tissues, hand soap, and even light bulbs! Some additional conveniences include new picnic tables, a charcoal BBQ grill, ample outdoor seating and a camp fire ring. Guests taking a long vacation may also appreciate the on site laundry supplies and facilities.
Sounding good? You will enjoy even more conveniences here! ArdPark lodgers receive free coffee and condiments and complimentary hotel style shampoo, conditioner, bath soap and hand and body lotion. FALL SEASON PROMOTION - For a limited time, to guests having a confirmed cabin reservation. We sincerely hope that our guests will explore the land at ArdPark. After all, the Mark Twain National Forest that's out the backdoor of our cabins belongs to you! To promote use of your national forest land, upon your arrival, you will find a military style compass. If your group is large, we'll give you two. We may even toss in a boyscout compass for your kids. Participants will also receive a few pocket sized insect repellants and a 9 LED flashlight. Your mission is to find the cave in the national forest!
Finding the cave is not an easy task. It took us a few tries! You will find it a little less than 1/2 mile into the national forest. That's the only clue given to us years ago so that's the clue we're giving to you. In both cabins, you will always find a topographical map of the forest land surrounding ArdPark. That map and your compass should be all you need besides an itch to take a great walk on some of the most beautiful, rarely traveled land in the country!
To win guests must produce a clear photo of themselves at the entrance of the cave. We must be able to easily identify you and the cave entrance in your photo.
