Folks tell us it has been a long time waiting for a private escape. Well, your wait is over! At ArdPark there are no neighboring businesses, residences or campers in site. You are situated on several private acres and surrounded by miles of rarely traveled Mark Twain National Forest. Only here can you do what you want, when you want, how you want! We must of course impose some policies but our restrictions are few.
Guests can choose from one of two fully furnished, spotless cabins, The All American or The Pines, or opt for primitive riverfront camping at the Courtois Cabana. Cabin facilities at ArdPark are stocked with countless amenities, including complimentary coffee, personal care products and insect repellant. Both cabins feature private bedrooms, bed, bath and kitchen linens, hairdryer, cookware, crock pot, dishes, utensils, refrigerator, microwave, coffee pot, toaster, 1 full bath, stove/oven, clock radios, campfire pits, screened porch, picnic tables, a charcoal BBQ grill and so much more! Even our campground comes equipped with on-site conveniences such as lawn chairs, personal rafts and a portable BBQ grill to name just a few.
Recreation activities on-site and nearby are numerous. Guests can mountain bike, hike and horseback ride in the national forest and on any of several trails, target practice is available as is swimming, fishing, hunting, golfing, canoeing and rafting. There are nearby museums, antique shops, historical sites, drive-in movie theatres and state parks. There's also plenty of room for plain old rest and relaxation in solitude.
Children and pets, including horses, are always welcome and man's best friend is not required to be leashed. Smoking is permitted on screened porches. Be sure to check out the Special Offers page on our website for current promotions and discounts.
