- Jacques Plante is an architect specializing in the design of theatres and other venues for entertainment. He has designed many major projects in the last decade, including La Tohu (a complex for circus arts) in Montreal and Robert Lepage’s Caserne Dalhousie in Quebec City. He recently completed a new concert hall for the Palais Montcalm in Quebec City, and is now working on Project Diamant, a scheme for a theatrical venue in a disused freeway tunnel also in Quebec City.
