I have lived in the lush and mossy northwest since 1988, and worked with clay for the past 25 years. My studio looks out to a peaceful Buddha garden beneath a sturdy tall western Red Cedar. Beyond is a large lake whose temperament and texture changes with the weather. The sculpted presence of the Cascade Mountain Range forms a background in the distance. A different view looks towards the grandeur of a Giant Sequoia, another influence in my life, and work.
