APL+ was founded in 1976 and was a successful private enterprise when it was purchased by a publicly listed company in 2001. In 2004 the Company reverted to private ownership when two experienced and enterprising IT professionals, Drew Gilpin and Lincoln Watson, purchased a majority shareholding in it. Tony Kirton, a 30 year veteran of the technology business, purchased the balance of the shares. All three are the Directors of the Company.
