My warmest welcome to all participants of the 3rd APGCC. We are very proud to host this important event in Malaysia. The first APGCC was held in Singapore in 2006 and the second was in Hong Kong in 2008. The Malaysian Upper Gastrointestinal Surgical Club in collaboration with the College of Surgeons have taken upon this great task to host this event and to promote Upper GI Surgery in Malaysia which is fairly a new and rapidly progressing subspeciality here.
