- APG82 PINhandy OTP Reader (One-Time Password Smart Card Reader) provides high-level security in a very compact and portable form. Using two-factor authentication, the users only have to insert a smart card to the APG82 OTP Reader (something you have) and enter their Personal Identification Number (something you know) to get a unique One-Time Password (OTP) generated. The One-Time Password is based on the cryptographic key stored securely in the card’s chip. The users then can authenticate themselves by relaying their One-Time Passward back to the bank through the PC keyboard.
