- A few years after having established a successful, internet based, specialist antique desks dealership in 1996, Don Spencer retired with more than 40 years experience in the antiques business. Don was able to retire happy in the knowledge that the business he had worked so hard to develop, would be continued as a thriving entity, with aims and standards similar to his own.
- Shortly prior to Don Spencer's retirement, and after 15 years as a collector of antique maps and furniture, the current owner, Steve Campbell, took up the challenge of furthering the development of the business. Steve had graduated with honours in history, some years earlier.
