Originally established in 1978 as Gospel Publishing Association by Dr. Ralph Woerner, a visionary pastor and writer, our mission has stayed constant, "to bring the good news of Jesus Christ to the homes of North America." Our publication speaks to the spiritual, moral, cultural and family issues of our time. Over the past 25 years we have published over 200 million copies of this outreach publication. We have assisted over 5,000 churches in their community outreach by personalizing Answer for local churches across North America. Currently, Answer is mailed in 47 states and five Canadian provinces.
In 1992 Promise Network began providing the same opportunity for community outreach to individual followers of Jesus Christ. In 2000, upon Woerner's retirement, Dr. Ron Mitchell was appointed President of Promise Network. Mitchell pastored churches in the United States for 20 years, and has preached and provided leadership training in many foreign countries.
Promise Network integrates the truths of Biblical Christianity with everyday stories to communicate to a non-Christian audience the reality of hope in the person of Jesus Christ. Additionally, people of faith find encouragement and inspiration in its pages. Promise Network is a 501(c)3 non-profit ministry. All contributions are tax deductible.
