There are several reasons why people relocate anywhere, why the Highlands and Islands? I am not a Scottish origin, but like many other fell for the place. I regret the rainy and windy, but I can not imagine living anywhere else! I experienced both sides of Scotland from one of the islands remote of Scotland's largest city. Both are equally beautiful in their own way and have a character like no other I've experienced. Living in the Outer Hebrides has completely changed my life.
