- Anne E. Silber is a dynamic author at age 74, writer of a novel, collections of stories, essays and Opinion pieces. Her life work has included B.A.s in Anthropology and Sociology, and an M.A. in Rehabilitation Counseling. She earned a Paralegal Certificate at age 67. Most of her life has been dedicated to working with people of other cultures. She marched with Martin Luther King Jr., and Jesse Jackson in the 1960's. She has written much about and been a strong vocal advocate for adult adoptees. The dramatic personal story of her own search for her biological roots is being written as an autobiography and three of her published articles are available on this site. Ms. Silber was born in Denver, Colorado, the place she chose for the setting of her novel, "Zaidy". She has lived in Japan, England, California and Illinois, before coming back to Colorado in 1980. She currently resides in Colorado Springs.
