- Monte Smith of Gold Country Sport Fishing reported easy limits of fat kokanee with Uncle Larry’s spinners with UV squid bodies, Apex lures and kokanee bugs behind Sep’s watermelon, copper or pink dodgers at depths from 40 to 60 feet near Glory Hole Point, Angels Creek Arm and on the south end near Rose Island. Trout bank anglers should head to local creeks and rivers (such as Angels Creek), which are receiving regular trout plantings from DFG. Trollers are primarily targeting kokanee with a few trout landed in the main lake or up in Angels Creek and upriver.
