We are an architectural practice based in Stornoway in the Outer Hebrides. Practising architecture in the Outer Hebrides has some unique characteristics in terms of the contracting position, climate and exposure, ground conditions and “on costs” as a result of our remoteness. Local knowledge is vital in developing projects “on the ground” to ensure materials and means of construction specified can be delivered on time, and within budget.
