- The Utilities Board of the City of Andalusia was formed in January 2003 through the combined efforts of the City of Andalusia and the Water Works Board of the City of Andalusia. The Utilities Board oversees all water, sewer, wastewater and electrical systems for over 9,500 customers and makes every effort to maintain and update these systems to provide customers with the most reliable services available. Although the Board is a legally separate entity, it is still a vital part of the City and provides financial assistance to the City of Andalusia.
- The Utilities Board consists of five members who are appointed by the Andalusia City Council.
