- Moody Church… Many early missionaries in the United States came from Moody Bible Institute and they would quite often go back for Moody Founders Week. The week prior to that Moody church would hold a home missions conference. Then in the fall of the year they held a foreign missions conference. This gave opportunity for those who were working in the homeland to get together for a time of fellowship and encouragement, and the following week attend Moody Founders Week for the spiritual refreshment and encouragement.
