- Extreme Edge Fishing is the first successful National Series of paddle-catch-photo-release kayak fishing events, Extreme Edge Kayak Fishing Tournaments originated in 2003 with the vision of promoting the sport of Kayak Fishing through a series of contests that would embody the values of fair and fun competition and conservation. This series is no longer a one day series event. The series now supports game fish conservation and connects anglers involved in all types of Fishing with less well known foundations such as the Snook Foundation www.snookfoundation.org, Stripers forever, www.stripersforever.org among others by conducting a series of web based long term photo and release events. One does not have to be a star to win an EEF event; all anglers with an interest in conservation are winners. There are no competitions to sign up for unless the event supports a conservation effort.
