The Alzheimer Society of Nova Scotia (ASNS) was formed over twenty-five years ago by families of individuals affected by the disease who joined together to provide mutual support and share information. The provincial Society, part of a national and international network of Alzheimer societies, has evolved into a dynamic organization, with a staff of twelve, approximately 250 members, dozens of community-minded corporate partners and hundreds of volunteers.
