AlternaBirth.Com is a project started by Chrissi & Chris Suttman, after having experienced "both sides" in the realm of pregnancy and childbirth. Each of their first children had been born in hospitals and the mothers' experiences had too many scary similarities.  Neither Chrissi nor Chris wanted this baby to experience such a traumatic childbirth.
