James Chinn founded Alpine Cabinet Company in Timnath, Colorado in 1968 with just one employee. James had previously worked in a lumberyard and introduced ready-built cabinets to Northern Colorado, and he later worked for another cabinet company. That experience showed him he could provide exceptional value to contractors and homeowners by manufacturing ready-built cabinets locally, and selling direct.
