- In December of 1990, Ron Rowland unveiled a new mutual fund newsletter based on sector rotation aptly named SectorAce. In 1994, Capital Cities Asset Management was formed and, to celebrate, SectorAce was renamed All Star Funds. Recently, All Star Funds was renamed to All Star Fund Trader to better describe the newsletter's trading strategy.
- Since its debut, All Star Fund Trader and its portfolios have been rated the top Mutual Fund Newsletter over numerous 1-, 3-, and 5-year periods by the Hulbert Financial Digest.
