Eric White started his entertainment career at the age of 14 in 1960 with "The Blue Caps", A Top Northern Rhythm Group and played at all the major local dancehalls, nightclubs and theatres that were popular in Heartbeat Country back in the late fifties and sixties. The band supported and toured with Brenda Lee, Rod Stewart, Alan Price, Frankie Vaughan, Vince Hill, Elton John, Long John Baldry, Chris Farlow, Billy J Kramer, Emile Ford, The Animals and Paul Daniels just to name a few.
